Helping Hands Pantry opens in Hurlford

02.12.2024

Volunteers at Helping Hands Pantry recently held an event to mark the official opening of their Hurlford premises.

The event, which took place on Thursday 17 October, welcomed elected members for a tour of the pantry, including its dining area, function room and well-stocked store.

Launched in partnership with Barnardos, Helping Hands Pantry offers members a wide choice of fresh fruit, vegetables and family favourites to stock up the cupboard, fridge and freezer, all for a small weekly fee of £4.50 for any 12 items.

The pantry can be found upstairs at Saint Paul’s Church, 53 Galston Road, Hurlford, KA1 5HT, and is open every Thursday between 12pm and 3pm.

To get in touch with Helping Hands Pantry, email helpinghandspantry@barnardos.org.uk or call 07518 200099.

Zoe Nisbet from Barnardo’s East Ayrshire Family Team is also available to assist with queries.
