What is a Health and Social Care Partnership?

East Ayrshire Council and NHS Ayrshire and Arran work together to deliver social care and community health services, forming an organisation known as East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.

This partnership offers opportunities to create more joined up services. We design these with our local communities and deliver them together. As a result, services are better and simpler for you to access and use.

Our Strategic Plan guides how we work with people, communities, colleagues in health and social care, and our third and independent sectors to develop innovative services. People, compassion and partnership best summarises our approach set out in this plan.

More details about how our Health and Social Care Partnership works and about the Integration Joint Board that makes decisions for the partnership, can be found on our governance page. You can also read more about health and social care partnerships on the Health and Social Care Scotland website.
