Care Experienced Week 2023

20.10.2023

We’re celebrating Care Experienced Week, a week long celebratory shout-out to our amazing care experienced community!

We are immensely proud of our care experienced community and will be celebrating with them through a programme of exciting events, culminating in the brilliant Who Cares? Scotland Love Rally.

We are marking the event on our social media channels, alongside our partners East Ayrshire Council and NHS Ayrshire and Arran; give us a follow to find out what we’re up to.

The Kilmarnock Viaduct will also be lit purple, beaming out our message of support and love to our care experienced community during the week.

Saturday 28 October

Who Cares? Scotland’s annual Time to Shine festival is an opportunity for Scotland’s care experienced community and their friends to come together, have fun and celebrate Care Experienced Week.

This year expect to be transported to Hollywood and the world of cinema as the theme is film characters!

Sunday 29 October

The Love Rally takes place on Sunday 29 October and is organised by Who Cares? Scotland. The march will set off from Glasgow Green, ending in George Square, with participants pledging their commitment to achieving a lifetime of love for care experienced people across Scotland.

Last year around 500 care experienced people and their supporters marched at the Love Rally. Can you help them go even bigger this year?
