Adults

Everyone has the right to live in safety.

We want East Ayrshire to be a safe and welcoming community for everyone. However, it’s never a bad idea to think about ways you can stay safe.

There are also things to keep an eye out for when you know people who may be at more risk of harm, and actions you can take if you are worried.

If you are concerned, it is important that you tell someone. The person causing harm may be doing it to others, or the person who is being harmed or neglected may not be able to report it themselves.

If you are ever feeling unsafe yourself, remember support is always available.
