Yes, there’s nothing wrong with chilling out after a hard day…but if we don’t make the effort to keep our bodies moving, just think of all the amazing benefits we’ll miss out on!
Simple things like walking or cycling instead of taking the bus or driving, parking further away from the front door of the supermarket, taking the stairs instead of the elevator or escalators and making sure you get up and walk around regularly during the day, all add up to huge changes in your overall health and wellbeing.
Regularly breaking up periods of sitting improves our health and wellbeing.
