Suicide Prevention

We all have our bad days. It’s simply a part of life.

However, sometimes things can be all too much to deal with and our mental health can really suffer.

As most of us put on a brave face and pretend we’re fine, you never know what a person might be struggling with, or what’s going on in their lives that could be bringing them down.

There are things we can all do to help look out for friends, family and colleagues who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts or mental distress.

Building confidence to listen and have conversations could be your first step, or you could even attend training in suicide first-aid.

We have some excellent local and national resources to help you on your way.

If you’re struggling to cope and feeling overwhelmed – support is always available.
